MICROSOFT will launch its Xbox One in China on Monday

MICROSOFT will launch its Xbox One on China’s mainland next Monday — the first game console to enter the market in 14 years, it said yesterday, in an apparent reversal of a delay announced just three days ago.
In January, China formally authorized the domestic sale of game consoles made in its first free trade zone in Shanghai, ending a more than decade-long ban.
Microsoft previously said it would start delivery of consoles yesterday, but over the weekend announced a delay potentially until the end of this year without giving a precise date or reason.
A new statement from Microsoft and its Chinese partner BesTV New Media issued yesterday suggested government approvals of games might have caused the delay.
“After receiving government approval for the first wave of games, we will launch with the first 10 games now and continue our work to bring more blockbuster games and a broad offering of entertainment and app experiences to the platform in the weeks and months to come,” Xie Enwei, general manager of Xbox China, said in the statement.

A Woman Paid $20,000 To Get A Third Boob

tridevil
This is the creepiest thing we’ve seen in a while
Jasmine Tridevil didn’t think being a normal, two-boob’d woman was hot enough. She wanted a third. Hell, she needed a third. So she went and got one.
The kicker? Yes, there’s an additional kicker. The main reason she did that was to become a reality star. Tridevil is hoping to gain coverage and traction on MTV, and has reportedly already begun filming her everyday life in Tampa so people could see the trials and tribulations living with a third tit comes with. Maybe creepy isn’t quite the word. We meant bizarre.
The surgeon signed a contract that prevents his name from being released to the public–a smart move–and Tridevil might want to find somewhere other than Victoria’s Secret to buy her lingerie. Never seen a 5-for$25 deal on 3-tit-bras in there.
By the way, she made a TV appearance last night, if you haven’t eaten in the past hour or so.

Microsoft delays Xbox One China launch

MICROSOFT has postponed the China launch of its Xbox One gaming console from Tuesday to next Monday, a move which coincides with the one-year anniversary of a pilot project that allowed for manufacture and sales of the console in the country.
September 29 marks the anniversary of the launch of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ), and also that of a joint venture in the FTZ between Microsoft and Chinese Internet television company BesTV.
With the joint venture, Microsoft has been allowed to manufacture and sell the Xbox along with its Chinese partner in the country, marking China's lifting of its ban to permit foreign firms to manufacture consoles for sale in China.
Previously, China's Ministry of Culture together with seven other ministries banned the manufacture and sale of all game consoles in China in 2000.
Xbox One is the first games console legally available in China since then.
Consumers will be able to buy the console and related products in over 3,200 outlets including branches of China Telecom, Shanghai government sources told Xinhua.
The new model will cost 3,699 yuan (601 U.S. dollars) without the Kinect motion detection system and 4,299 yuan with Kinect, Microsoft said in July.

The deadliest Ebola epidemic ever has now killed 2,811 in west Africa, the World Health Organisation has said, adding though that in Senegal and Nigeria the outbreak has been basically contained.
The UN health agency, which also published the results of the latest meeting of its Ebola emergency committee on Monday, said a total of 5,864 people had been infected in five west African countries as of September 18.
The disease has claimed 181 lives since the last death toll of 2,630 was issued on September 14.
Guinea, where the outbreak began at the start of the year, and neighbouring Liberia and Sierra Leone by far account for most of the cases and continue to see ballooning numbers.
Liberia has been especially hard-hit, with 1,578 deaths from 3,022 cases.
At the same time ‘the outbreaks in Senegal and Nigeria are pretty much contained’, the WHO said in a statement.
Senegal has not reported any new cases of the deadly virus since it registered its first and only case on August 29, a Guinean student who has since recovered.
And Nigeria, where 21 people have been infected, eight of whom have died, has not reported any new cases since 8 September.
The WHO said a meeting of its Ebola emergency committee last week had determined that the outbreak remained a ‘public health emergency of international concern’.
The committee had reiterated its opposition to general bans on international travel or trade, although people infected with Ebola or who had had contact with Ebola patients should not be permitted to travel, the WHO said.
The emergency committee also stressed that in cases where measures like quarantines are deemed necessary, countries must ensure that ‘they are proportionate and evidence-based, and that accurate information, essential services and commodities, including food and water are provided to the affected populations’.

BBC’s nightly Ebola service

Meanwhile, BBC World Service radio has begun nightly Ebola broadcasts for west Africa, concentrating on efforts to combat the virus across the region.
The nine-minute News About West Africa broadcasts include a round-up of developments, particularly from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, the three worst-affected countries.
‘Through local stories, correspondents and interviews, the broadcast will include the latest information about local, regional and international effort to contain and combat the disease,’ the British Broadcasting Corporation said in a statement from London on Monday.
‘There is a great deal of new information emerging about how best to respond to Ebola and the program aims that to share that with an African and global audience.
‘Lack of knowledge and myths about the disease are killing people as surely as Ebola is,’ BBC World Service director Peter Horrocks said.
‘Quality information from both within and outside the countries affected about how the risks of Ebola can be safely managed will save lives.’

Man Who Orgasms At Least 100 Times A Day Says Life Is A Living Hell
Experiencing 100 orgasms a day may sound like the gift that keeps on giving, but a heartbroken man from Wisconsin can assure you it’s much more of a curse.

Dale Decker is a 37-year-old husband and father of two who suffers from an uncontrollable condition known as Persistent Genital Arousal Syndrome, Barcroft Media reports.

He first felt the symptoms after he slipped a disk in his back and was on his way to the hospital. Decker inexplicably ejaculated five times on the drive — and says the orgasms have kept on coming ever since.

“Imagine being on your knees at your father’s funeral beside his casket, saying goodbye to him — and then you have nine orgasms right there,” he said. “While your whole family is standing behind you.”

“It makes you never want to have another orgasm for as long as you live,” Decker added. “There’s nothing pleasurable about it because even though it might feel physically good — you’re completely disgusted by what’s going on.”

Decker says the intense episodes have taken an extreme toll on him and his family. He is afraid to even leave the house because evidently no place is safe from his excessive ejaculation.

“If you’re in public, if you’re in front of kids — it’s disgusting and it can break you real fast,” he told Barcroft.

“It happened to me at the grocery store and when it was over, there were around 150 people looking straight at me — why would I leave the house when something like this can happen?”

But Decker ultimately realized that his wife, April, 33, and two sons, Christian, 12, and Tayten, 11, are the ones who have to put up with most of the problems from his pelvic issues.

“We really struggle right now as he is unable to work and supply for his family and I feel like all the strain is on me,” April said.

But what hurts most for April is that even though her dearly beloved suffers from endless orgasms and constant erections, he is unable to satisfy her in the bedroom.

“It’s really upsetting, we don’t do things that man and wife should do and we argue over things that should not be affecting us,” she said. “Because he sometimes has episodes at night, we took the decision to sleep in separate beds.”

“That can be very frustrating,” an emotional April added. “You want the comfort from another person, particularly your husband, but we don’t have that.”

Decker agrees that his problem has rendered him useless when it comes to having se*x, something that makes him feel very guilty.

“Occasionally we will [have sex], but it’s very frustrating for both of us as this condition has left me unable to finish,” he said. “I’ve tried reading about it, tried going to doctors, but nobody can help me — I don’t know what I’m going to do. I just want to get my old life back — I just want to get back what this condition has taken from me.”

“It’s clear Dale is really suffering and I’m sure there are some people who will say that this is just in his head,” she told Barcroft. “But it’s not — it’s a serious medical condition and I just hope he gets the help he so desperately needs.”

Shanghai to build 'world's largest' polar theme park

polar-theme-park.jpg
Authorities have announced plans to open a polar theme park in Shanghai's Pudong New Area. The park will be the largest of its kind, housing more than 500 species of polar animals and over 20,000 different types of fish,Shanghai Daily reports.
Shanghai Polar Ocean World is to be built in Lingang New City and will be spread over 300,000 square meters. In addition, there will be a theme park, occupying a further 145,000 square meters.
Construction is set to begin before the end of the year when they will start building the 13 pavilions, four performance areas, four cinemas, and numerous other facilities that are due to make up the park.
Visitors to the park will be able to see killer whales performing tricks in a large water pool and will also be able to visit the polar animal and ocean wild zones to see various wildlife, including polar bears, emperor penguins, dolphins and beluga whales. The additional pavilions will contain sharks, penguins and coral.
There is currently no set date for which the park is to be completed by. Thankfully we'll soon have the new Shanghai Disneyland, due for completion in 2015, to hold us over until then (along with thousands of other tourists).
