“The Winston”, a cocktail created by Joel Heffernan (Australia), was sold at
Club 23 in Melbourne, Australia, on 7 February
2013 for AUS$125,000 (£8,583). The drink – which requires 16 hours of
labour owing to its elaborate garnish of chocolate and nutmeg dust – contains 60
ml (2.1 fl oz) of Croizet’s 1858 Cuvee Leonie cognac
