6 February 2013, Datta Phuge (India) paid
6,615,481 rupees (£79,495; $120,219) for a bespoke shirt made from
3.2 kg (9 lb 4 oz) of 22-carat solid gold in Pimpri Chinchwad,
Maharashtra, India. It was created by Ranka Jewellers and was “knitted” by 15
goldsmiths
